End of the COP21
The COP21 is coming to a close and myfood continues to move forward
We were in Paris early December to cover several workshops during the Climate Convention. We were pleased to meet new Pioneer Citizens at ICI Montreuil, the 104 and at the l’Institut Polytechnique LaSalle in Beauvais. It was a great opportunity to share among permaculture aficionados, some curious and students whose heads are filled with interesting projects.
We also took advantage of this opportunity to meet the entire COP21 team. Real team spirit was built after five weeks of living together in Millemont as a community this summer. The COP21 will surely progress and shift. To be continued!
We are confident about 2016
We saw a great deal of positive outcomes for myfood after the COP21. We were published in Les Echos, GEO, and in the Bio à la Une website. We will continue to lay out our solutions in the coming weeks. However, for the next few days, we will take it slow. We want to take a few well-deserved vacation days during the holidays and spend some quality time with family. Next year, we will see some concrete actions with myfood. We planted a few seeds, which will sprout slowly but surely over the spring.
Our travel notes
We will cover a few major events in 2016 in order to make ourselves known, such as the Salon de L’Agriculture in Paris (Paris Agriculture Fair). We have also thought about launching a crowdfunding campaign to finance the installation of the aquaponics greenhouse in Africa. The team is currently being built.
