In just a few decades, we have gone from being a sovereign and stable nation to a boat tossed about by the waves. Never before has our agricultural and food system been so dependent on external factors: financial markets, energy, European regulations, intercontinental agreements\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This dependence is no longer marginal. It has become critical.
France<\/a> and Germany<\/a> have positioned themselves in (highly) deficit-driven agri-food models and are now net importers of essential goods (fruit, vegetables, meat, etc.). Does the French citizen realize that when purchasing a bag of frozen vegetables, three times out of four<\/a> they are consuming products from Spain, Italy, or Belgium? Or that nearly one out of every two cans of vegetables does not come from our own territories, are they truly aware of this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have we truly become incapable of feeding ourselves? Should we continue to wait for an administrative solution from Paris or Brussels to correct a situation that undermines our sovereignty, our security, and our collective resilience?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer will no longer come from the top down. It will be citizen-led.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It begins with simple, concrete, and accessible actions: sourcing fruit from orchards, eggs from the henhouse, honey from the garden; prioritizing short supply chains and local producers; growing part of one\u2019s own vegetables at home, in a greenhouse.
For urban dwellers, this means respecting the seasons and paying closer attention to labels\u2014especially the true origin of fresh, frozen, and processed products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2026, Myfood is entering its second decade of supporting citizens in achieving food sovereignty for families. Our role is clear: to communicate transparently and then propose concrete solutions for action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this year, we have decided to take you along for the ride \u2014 with some very concrete good news in store.<\/strong>

In 2026, we are entering a new phase. Since our last fundraising campaign in 2024, we have been working to significantly reduce our prices in order to make our family greenhouses more accessible and accelerate their return on investment. We are now able to announce the Family Original greenhouse starting at \u20ac7,492<\/a>. It now takes around four years of production to recoup the cost of a Family Production aquaponics greenhouse, equipped with its extensions, at \u20ac9,750*.
Further advances will follow this year within our ecosystem. In the short and medium term, individual and collective organisation will be crucial to rebuilding the pillars of sustainable food stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring is approaching, and with it, the time for action. Installation schedules are filling up quickly<\/strong>. To all those who are already growing, to those who are about to take the plunge, to the farmers, market gardeners, and livestock breeders of our territories: I wish you a courageous, fruitful, and resolutely autonomous 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
